Taunton's annual Lighting of the Green and Lights On Festival — a tradition since 1914. The town green transforms into a whimsical lights display with a giant Christmas tree, walk-through displays, giant Santa decoration, carnival rides, live music at 30+ entertainment sites in the downtown neighborhood, visits with Santa, and free hot chocolate around town. Held the first Saturday in December.
