PVDFest is Providence's signature outdoor arts festival, staged across the city's downtown core by the City of Providence Department of Art, Culture and Tourism with producing partner FirstWorks. The 2026 edition runs Friday evening and all day Saturday, spreading live music, dance and performance across street and park stages around Kennedy Plaza, Burnside Park and the Providence Rink. Alongside the stages are maker spaces, cultural heritage groups, artisan vendors and a food truck village. Sunday, September 20 is held only as a rain date.
