Mi'kmaq Nation

The Mi'kmaq Nation is a federally recognized tribal nation (recognized November 26, 1991) located in Presque Isle, Aroostook County, in northern Maine. It serves its members through tribal government, health, education, cultural, and community programs, and hosts community events including the annual Mawiomi gathering.
