The Mi'kmaq Nation's annual cultural gathering held the third weekend of August at Spruce Haven in Caribou. Mawiomi means "Gathering" in Mi'kmaq. The event showcases the beauty, strength, spirit, and endurance of Mi'kmaq culture and tradition through dancing, drumming, food, craftwork, and ceremony — open to all people of Mother Earth and welcoming Indigenous communities from across the region.
