The 60th Annual Seymour Pumpkin Festival at French Memorial Park. Started in 1965 by the Seymour Garden Club, it now draws thousands each fall. Features 150+ juried arts and crafts vendors (handmade jewelry, woodworking, home decor, seasonal treats), a large food court with fried dough, burgers and pumpkin-flavored specialties, a Kid's Corner with slime making, face painting, ceramics and pumpkin decorating, a costume contest, the crowning of the Pumpkin King and Queen, and live entertainment from local musicians. All proceeds benefit community organizations and student scholarships.
