The Guilford Fair, produced by the all-volunteer Guilford Agricultural Society since 1859, is Connecticut's second-oldest agricultural fair and runs each year on the third full weekend of September at the Guilford Fairgrounds. Three days bring livestock and poultry judging, needlework, photography and craft exhibits, and a full Rockwell Amusements midway. Tribute bands headline each night. Gate admission covers all exhibits and entertainment, though ride tickets are sold separately.
