The Belchertown Fair & Parade is a free, volunteer-coordinated community fair held on the town common in Belchertown, MA — a fair the organizers describe as grounded in agriculture and civic pride. The 2026 edition is the 167th, themed "Stars, Stripes and Fair Nights" for the country's 250th birthday. Admission to the fair is free — the organizers state plainly that "there is no admission" — and the fair estimates annual attendance between 37,000 and 39,000. The midway is the exception: rides and games are paid, with ride tickets sold at $1 each and most rides taking four to ten tickets, or an unlimited wristband; wristband prices are published by the ride operator rather than by the fair.
