Institute for American Indian Studies

The Institute for American Indian Studies (IAIS) is a museum and research center in Washington, Connecticut, founded in 1975, that preserves and promotes the histories, traditions, and contemporary cultures of Native American peoples through research, collections, exhibits, and Indigenous-led educational programs. It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
