The 62nd annual Western Maine Mineral, Gem and Jewelry Show, hosted by the Oxford County Mineral & Gem Association, gathers dealers of minerals, gems, jewelry, and fossils from Maine and around the world at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School in South Paris. A special display from the Maine Mineral and Gem Museum features a piece of the Moon, alongside hourly door prizes, silent auctions every half hour, and free children's activities. Open Saturday, July 11 from 9 AM to 5 PM and Sunday, July 12 from 10 AM to 4 PM. Admission is $5, and children under 18 get in free; the venue is air-conditioned with ample parking (no ATM on site, though some vendors accept cards).
