The 44th Annual Vergennes Day, presented by the Addison County Chamber of Commerce, is a one-day community celebration in the heart of downtown Vergennes on Saturday, August 22, 2026. The day opens with a pancake breakfast at the fire station and the Little City Road Race, then fills City Park with 55+ local crafters and exhibitors, food trucks, the Vergennes Lions Club chicken BBQ, and live music on the bandstand. Families can take in children's venues with a bubble pit, horse and wagon rides, and activities at the Bixby Memorial Free Library, while local merchants run sales throughout downtown. Admission is free.
