Peabody's International Festival returns for its 41st year, taking over downtown Main Street for a free one-day celebration of the city's cultural communities. The festival is built around more than 65 food booths representing Greek, Portuguese, Brazilian, Polish, Chinese, Indian, Irish, Caribbean and other traditions. The Creative Collective brings in over 30 local artisan vendors with crafts and handmade goods, and The Galleria at 81 Main Street shows paintings and photography from local artists. Admission is free and the event is open to the public. October 4 serves as the rain date.
