The August Blistered Fingers Family Bluegrass Festival runs August 27-30, 2026 at the Litchfield Fairgrounds, 30 Plains Road, Litchfield, Maine. The series began in June 1991 and added this second, August festival five years later; the organizer describes it as one of New England's biggest family music events, mixing national and local bands across banjo, fiddle and close harmony. The 2026 August lineup includes The Gibson Brothers, Nothin' Fancy, Special Consensus, Dave Adkins & Mountain Soul, Larry Efaw & the Bluegrass Mountaineers, Ironwood Drive, Beartracks, Katahdin Valley Boys, Back Woods Road and Blistered Fingers, with a Kids Academy on Saturday and a Sunday morning gospel sing.
