The Great New England Air Show (branded the Great New England Air & Space Show) is a large biennial military and civilian aviation showcase at Westover Air Reserve Base in Chicopee, Massachusetts, presented by the all-volunteer Westover Galaxy Community Council (a 501(c)(3); not a DoD organization). After a multi-year hiatus, the show returns May 22–23, 2027 — dates confirmed on the organizer's official save-the-date. The U.S. Navy Blue Angels are confirmed to headline, per the Navy's official 2027 show schedule. Expect incredible aerial demonstrations, static aircraft displays, and family-friendly, patriotic programming honoring service members. Some local reporting has also mentioned the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, but that has not been officially confirmed. Admission has historically been free.
