Granite State Comicon is New Hampshire's long-running comics and pop culture convention, produced since 2003 by Manchester retailer Double Midnight Comics. It spreads across two adjacent downtown venues — the DoubleTree by Hilton, holding the Expo Center, Armory artist alley and gaming lounge, and the SNHU Arena, where celebrity guests do autographs and photo ops. Programming includes creator panels, cosplay workshops, tabletop gaming, costume contests and a large artist alley. A separately ticketed Friday preview night opens the Armory early; the main convention runs Saturday and Sunday.
