The Grand Lake Stream Folk Art Festival is one of Maine's premier folk art events, held the last full weekend of July at the Grand Lake Stream Ballfield in remote Washington County. Established in 1994, the festival brings together over 60 vendors offering handcrafted folk arts and crafts, alongside live music performances, a quilt display and sale, traditional canoes, and cultural exhibits. A beloved Down East tradition, it draws artisans and visitors from across Maine and beyond. Saturday and Sunday, 10am–5pm.
