The Four Town Fair, run by the Union Agricultural Society for Somers, East Windsor, Enfield and Ellington, bills itself as Connecticut's oldest continuously running agricultural fair and reaches its 188th edition in 2026. Four days at the Egypt Road grounds cover livestock, goat, sheep and swine shows, oxen, pony and horse pulls, doodlebug pulling and a Sunday open horse show. A midway, main-stage bands each night, a Saturday morning parade through Somers center, and contests from frog-jumping to skillet throwing fill out the schedule. Parking is free both on and off the grounds.
