An annual celebration of the ploye — the buckwheat pancake icon of Acadian cuisine — held in downtown Fort Kent and bundled with the Fort Kent International Muskie Derby fishing tournament. The festival holds the world record for the largest ploye ever made and includes live entertainment, vendor booths, a craft show, ploye eating contest, ploye wrestling contest, dog-a-thon, and games for all ages.
