Celebrate autumn with the Bristol Merchants Association at the State Street Harvest Fair. Dozens of juried vendors take over Lower State Street and Rockwell Park to display unique, self-made, and hand-made items for sale. Lower State Street is closed to traffic, allowing pedestrians to stroll and browse. Live music and food round out the day. Admission is free, and free public parking is available first-come first-served on Hope Street, Thames Street, upper State Street and surrounding marked areas. This is an outdoor rain-or-shine event. The organizer's FAQ states that pets are not permitted — service animals only. The fair does not run its own food and beverage stalls; restaurants, cafés and coffee shops along the route are open. Vendor spaces are 10'x10' at $150 each; applications are handled through the Bristol Merchants Association.
